Giulio Genoni - 53 years old - Switzerland
Giulio has loved the sea and has been sensitive to environmental protection since his childhood. He teaches biology and chemistry in a Lausanne, Switzerland, high school. He decided to take a 6-month sabbatical leave to join the Fleur de Passion crew as scientific coordinator. He has a PhD in zoology and a long experience in research. Also an independent consultant and scientific translator, he is a diver and a sailor, which makes him a great addition to the team.

Baltic Sea Mission

We are in the Baltic Sea for 3 weeks with scientists from the German Oceanographic Museum in Stralsund. Their work focuses for the first part on collecting and sampling species to study the evolution of this fragile ecosystem. A second group is collecting underwater footage and images for the museum.
