Arnaud Cazenave de la Roche - France
Arnaud Cazenave de la Roche is the president of the SEAS Society (Society for the study of marine archaeology) based in Saint Florent. Within the framework of archaeological mapping of the Gulf of Saint Florent, he brought to light two wrecks dating back to the Renaissance. After having analysed the remains, dated the cannons and studied the archives, Arnaud was able to determine that the wrecks corresponded to two Spanish galleons which sank during the naval battle between the army of Charles Quint against the French speaking Corsicans who were fighting for François 1st. Antinea will explore the wrecks in Mortella with Arnaud.
